Internship Basics
If you are interested in video production, community media, television production, open-source technology, animation or small nonprofits that empower communities through media, we want you! The Open Media Foundation takes a brand new approach to television and media. Just as organizations such as YouTube and Wikipedia have changed the way that individuals create and access media on the web, Open Media Foundation has created a participatory model for community TV on a level only imagined before.
We are a small nonprofit organization so we rely on our interns to help make us work! Which means interns get meaningful, real world experience and have the opportunity to fully participate in the exciting world of both video and interactive community TV. Our internships are unpaid but all interns have free access to our equipment, resources and production classes. Individuals fluent in Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply!
Internships are available in:
- Radio/Community Media
- State Capitol Production (available only January through May)
- Executive Assistant
- DOM Web Development
These internship opportunities are available only to persons in the Denver metro area.
